Established in 1927, Cliff Dickenson & son has been trading from Station Road Garage in Winsford since the business commenced. Now in its third generation of family ownership the business is being run by Chris Winward, who is the son-in-law of Ken, and grandson-in-law of Cliff Dickenson.
Business has grown considerably over the years and the site at Station Road has been expanded to cope with increasing demand from customers old and new from the mid Cheshire area and beyond Last year the business sold in excess of 700 retail vehicles and this has made it necessary to add increased capacity to the Station Road site. At any one time we may have seventy used vehicles available for sale that fill the site to it’s limits.
With this in mind the purchase of Chester Road Garage at Winsford has taken place, which will enable the new business to offer a selection of 40 Quality Used Vehicles for sale, specialising in Ford Direct RAC Approved Used Cars and other Specialist Used Vehicles.
The site at Chester Road will concentrate in preparation and sale of used vehicles. Servicing of customer vehicles will take place, as previously, from the site at Station Road with its extensive facilities and expert staff. Station Road site will still continue to offer the sale of New and Used Vehicles.
The latest systems and very best in customer comforts are available at our purpose-built premises at Chester Road. There is a dedicated customer waiting area, baby changing facilities, disabled toilet facilities and access, to name but a few.
Customer care, as always, will be of the highest importance, with a dedicated team striving to ensure our customers get what they want. Caring for your motoring needs will be Ian Broadhurst and Lee Patton, who collectively have 30 years experience with Cliff Dickenson and Son. They are joined by Kevin Moss, who is new to our firm, bringing with him 20 years of FORD and Retail car sales knowledge.
